Windows Server 2019 Evaluation: Extend your evaluation for up to 3 years

Is your windows evaluation coming to an end? Did you know you can extend your trial of the Windows 2019 server for up to 3 years?

After installing Windows, you can try it out for 180 days. After 180 days you will begin to run into problems.


Extending the Evaluation

Look at the picture of the desktop below, you should see the countdown in the corner down right. The example below shows 64 days remain.



Once you get to your last day you will need open Windows power shell and enter:

 slmgr -rearm

 

Restart your computer and you will now have 180 days. You can perform this rearm every 180 days and up to 6 times giving you 3 years to evaluate the windows server.


Want to check how many rearms you have left? Open Windows power shell again and enter"

slmgr -dlv
